Visit Buffalo
We took a beautiful, rugged Wyoming county that no longer resonated with their brand and wasn’t sure how to unify destination marketing efforts across cities and departments, and provided them with a full rebrand and actionable Brand Strategy Playbook to help them bring it to life and keep it thriving.
Johnson County, Wyoming’s tourism brand had been Visit Buffalo, but the local stakeholders didn’t care for the visual identity and weren’t unified around any specific, ownable position as a regional brand. They wanted something that local residents and business owners could rally around and adopt as their own, but needed help figuring out what that should be.

Visit Buffalo has a unified idea about who they are as a regional brand, how it can be communicated and extended to local stakeholders, and an official document (Brand Playbook) that allows them to keep everyone “on brand.”
It’s more than just a new logo— now they have a shared way of talking about themselves, coming up with new media and campaigns, de-positioning themselves from other regional brands, and an invitation that resonates with locals and visitors alike.
Visit Buffalo is “The Way West”.
